Itinerary

1. Day program

   Chinchero People

   CHINCHERO PEOPLE: Pick up at your accommodation. We will start our tour by visiting the village of Chinchero, which preserves the Inca traditions alive. We will share your customs and knowledge about Andean fabrics and products, enjoying the Inca aroma and a wonderful landscape.

   Saineras de Maras

   SAINERAS DE MARAS: We will visit the Salineras de Maras. They have approximately 3000 natural pools of salt. We will see how the inhabitants of Maras extract the salt, as well as the procedures for its extraction, and we will also enjoy the wonderful landscape.

   Invernadero de Moray

   INVERNADERO DE MORAY: Afterwards we will arrive at the archaeological site of Moray, where we can appreciate the circular terraces where the Incas planted different types of plants and vegetables.

   Urubamba

   URUBAMBA: Our next stop will be in Urubamba for lunch. The buffet lunch is not included in the price; if you wish, we can book it.

   Ollantaytambo Archeological Center

   OLLANTAYTAMBO ARCHEOLOGICAL CENTER: Continuing our tour, we will visit the impressive village of Ollantaytambo, which retains the original Inca designs. We will also visit the incredible archaeological site that was a ceremonial place of the Sun.

   Pisac, the Traditional Market and Viewpoint

   PISAC, THE TRADITIONAL MARKET AND VIEWPOINT: Finally we will enter the village of Pisac where we will visit its traditional market, it is a place where you can find many fabrics, crafts, silver jewelry, etc. We will also make a stop at the viewpoint to have a view of the Inkas buildings located on the top of the mountains and contemplate the impressive terraces used for agriculture.

   Return to Cusco

   Finally we will return to Cusco making our last stop near the main square located in the city center.
